RI of Machine Building Technology


The goal of the Research Institute "Machine Building Technologies" (RI MachTech) is technological provision of solving the most general practical machine building problems. Research Institute focuses its activity on designing pilot samples, appliances, machines etc. RI MachTech delivers a full range of services connected with design and output preparation of new industrial products. Among the main services are the following: design of computer CAD-models, 3D scanning, prototyping, small-scale production of plastmass articles, casting of steel and non-ferrous metals as well as CNC machining.

Laboratory’s main objectives:

  • development of technologies for producing the articles of diverse materials with complex geometry by cutting on the machines with numerical program control
  • production of casting equipment for the Laboratory of Metals Vacuum Casting and the Laboratory of Polymers Vacuum Casting

Fields of implementation for the Laboratory’s research results:

instrument engineering, aircraft and automobile industry, general engineering.

Possibilities for commercial use:

  • Production of high-precision complex shape technological equipment;
  • Final processing of the foundry products;
  • Industrial articles production by cutting of diverse materials.
